When the two sides lock horns in the Indian Super League (ISL 2020-21) clash on Tuesday
at the Fatorda Stadium, Hyderabad FC will try to do the double over Odisha FC.
With a narrow 1-0 victory over Odisha back in November, Hyderabad kicked off its
campaign and Manuel Marquez will hope his team will keep the momentum going with two
wins and a draw in its last three matches.
Hyderabad bounced back in style after three straight losses going into the new year by
securing convincing wins over Chennaiyin FC and NorthEast United FC and followed it up
by holding the Mumbai City FC table-topper to a goalless draw.
In its last match against Chennaiyin FC, Odisha suffered its seventh loss of the season.
In the first half, defensive lapses saw the side concede twice in six minutes. So far,
the Kalinga Warriors have only managed one clean sheet.
Odisha did a double over Hyderabad FC last season. Marquez's men will further secure
their place in the top four with a win with the tables turned this time around, while a
similar result will lift Odisha from the bottom of the table.
