  • No Pair: In a high hand, always play the highest-ranked card. On the low hand, use the second and third highest ranked cards.
  • One Pair: In the high hand, always play the pair. On the low hand, use the two highest-ranked cards.
  • Two Pairs: Low Pair= 2~6
    Mid Pair - 7~10
    High Pair - Jacks~Kings
    • Low Pair - Low Pair //Low Pair - Mid Pair: Split the pairs except when the hand contains King or Ace.
    • Low Pair - High Pair / Mid Pair - Mid Pair: Split the pairs except when the hand contains an Ace.
    • Mid Pair - High Pair / High Pair - High Pair: Always split.
    • Aces - any other pair: Always split.
  • Three Pairs: In the low hand, always play the highest pair.
  • Three-of-a-kind: Unless you have three Aces, in which case you should play one Ace in the low hand and a pair of Aces in the high hand.
  • Two three-of-a-kind: Play pair of highest three-of-a-kind in the low hand.
  • Royal Flushes, Straight Flushes, Flushes, and Straights:
  • When you have a choice between a Straight, Flush, or Straight Flush, play the hand that permits you to play the top two cards in the low hand to keep the Straight, Flush, or Straight Flush.

    Exception: Play a pair of Aces in the high hand and the two highest cards in the low hand if the hand comprises a Straight or Straight Flush, AceHigh, and a Joker. (Unless the high hand has an Ace and a Joker, in which case play A,2,3,4,5.)
  • Play the Straight if the hand may be played as a lower Straight.
    One Pair: If a Straight or Flush can be played in the high hand, play the pair in front.
    Two Pairs: Same as two pairs rule.
    Three Pairs: Same as three pairs rule.
    Three-of-a-kind: Play the pair in the low hand.
    Full House: Same as the full house rule.
  • Full House:
    Always divide the pair in the bottom hand when the hand comprises three-of-a-kind and a pair (Full House).

    Exception: Play AceKing in the low hand and keep the full house in the high hand if you have a full house with a pair of 2s and an Ace and King.

    In the low hand, play the highest pair (when the hand comprises three-of-a-kind and two pairs).

    Four-of-a-kind:
    Never split a hand containing four-of-a-kind, twos through nines.
    Split tens through kings when the hand contains four-of-a-kind, except when an Ace can be played in the low hand. Play the four-of-a-kind in the high hand in this situation.
    Always split when the hand has four Aces.
    When a hand has four Aces and a pair of Kings, keep the four Aces in the high hand and play the Kings in the low hand.
    Play pair in the low hand and four-of-a-kind in the high hand when the hand comprises four-of-a-kind with a pair or three-of-a-kind.
  • Five Aces:
    Always split when you have five aces in your hand. In the low hand, play two aces.
    Play the Kings in the low hand and the Aces in the high hand if you have a pair of Kings and five Aces.
